Buenos Aires Clubhouse
The Buenos Aires Clubhouse, in the heart of Argentina´s fast and furious capital city, runs in a very different way to that of the three other clubhouses. Its city location and office-style premises immediately create a different vibe and place the wandering SAE member succinctly into the buzz and energy seeping in through the walls from the porteño life outside.
Reflecting the style and culture of our surroundings, the BA Clubhouse events are tailored towards art, culture and gastronomy and we follow a regular program of gallery hops, beer and wine tastings as well as the odd cinema or theatrical performance here and there. Football matches and tango tours can also be booked every day through our clubhouse and as such we ensure that those all important elements of BA life are factored into your city stopover.
Only four and a half years old, the BA Clubhouse is the youngest of the troop, but now has a steady crowd of expat members who live and work in the capital; another reason why we organise events which take advantage of the ever changing cultural scene in the city.
Services on offer
As well as the usual SAE services such as trip planning, access to the trip reports and volunteer database, extensive library, reference books, maps & guidebooks for sale, luggage storage, safety deposit box, book exchange and wireless internet, we also offer a weekly events program, and the chance to learn about and contribute to local community and environmental projects.
