| Founded in 1999 the Cusco clubhouse is the youngest of our clubhouses. However, due to its close proximity to Machu Picchu, the Inca Trail and the Peruvian Amazon, it is one of the busiest. In 2002 the office moved to Choquechaca and in 2003, it expanded to provide better facilities for its members. It has an active membership in the Cuy club, organizes clothes donation trips to remote communities and has recently set up a recycling centre. There are also opportunities to refill your plastic bottles with mineral water. It is a great place to meet fellow travellers, grab a cookie, or find out which tour group to use to guide you down the Inca trail. The weekly events program is an excellent way to learn a little more about the Peruvian culture. Common events include; Peruvian Food & Drink Night, Quechua class, Film Night, Andean Medicine, Salsa class, a visit to a Peruvian textile project and much more!

Directions:
We are now situated on Choquechaca 188, buzzer No.4 opposite the alley called Siete Culebras which comes down from Plaza Nazarenas, where the luxurious Monasterio Hotel is situated. It has a green door and balcony and there is a sign on the right hand side, by the buzzers. If walking from the bottom of Choquechaca, we are situated on the right hand side, past the Chocolate shop and La Paz pharmacy.
If you want to come directly to the clubhouse in Cusco, take a licensed taxi, which has a blue sticker with “2005 TAXI Autorizado” on the windscreen. Taxis also have a black and yellow chequer board on the side doors. A ride from the airport should cost no more than 5 soles or US$1.5
