Located 960 Km off the coast of Ecuador, the amazing Galapagos
Islands are an ever popular destination for South American
travelers. These volcanic islands are home to a variety
of different life forms, and were the site of inspiration
for Charles Darwin's Theory of Evolution.

A Woman's Pilgrimage to the Galapagos, by Margaret
Wittmer
- A true story by a German woman who moved to the
Galapagos in the 1930's with her husband and son.
They shared the island of Floreana with a crazy dentist,
a baroness and her two lovers, and a few others...The
Wittmers still live on the island, and welcome visitors.

Father's Island: A Galapagos Quest, by Johanna Angermeyer
- The story
of Johanna Angermeyer, and how she made it back to
the Galapagos Islands that her father once called
home. The Angermeyers now run a Galapagos tour company.
