Costs: Free entry to permanent exhibit, Entrance to art exhibits $.1.50 adults, $.0.75 kids.
This old municipal building includes the execution site of revolutionaries from the battle for Ecuadorian independence from the Spaniards in 1809. They have recently added colonial and modern art from various Latin American countries.

In addition to the artist’s collection, there is a small Pre-Colombian and Colonial collection. On site there is also a jewelry exhibit, a library of colonial and more modern books, and a gift shop.
