The following are airline companies that fly to as well as within French Guiana with the appropriate phone and fax numbers. Flight schedules and prices are subject to change, so please contact a local travel agent or the airline for the most recent information, offers or promotions.

From the US:
The only major airline that offers service to French Guiana is AirFrance. However, there is no direct service from the United States to Rochambeau Airport outside of Cayenne, FG. (They do have direct flights from Orly Field in Paris to Rochambeau, Cayenne, FG.) If you are traveling to FG from the United States, you will first need to take an American Airlines flight to either Point A Pitre, Guadeloupe (Le Raizet Airport) or Fort De France, Martinique (Lamentin Airport).

The only U.S. based commercial airline with service to Martinique/Guadeloupe is American Airlines.

From Guadeloupe/Martinique you will have to switch to AirFrance to complete the journey to Cayenne, FG. Please note that you cannot arrive and depart in one day from either Martinique or Guadeloupe when traveling to Cayenne from the US. You will need to stay overnight in a hotel. Please use caution as neither Guadeloupe nor Martinique is considered safe to freely travel about. It is highly recommended that you restrict your activities to the hotel boundaries, unless you are an experienced traveler to these islands.

Other airlines that travel to Cayenne are Suriname Airways which has direct flights from Paramaribo, Suriname to Rochambeau Airport, Cayenne. There are also flights from Belem (Val De Cans Airport and Macapa International Airport) from Brazil.

The only carrier from Europe is AirFrance, however, AirFrance does not fly from anywhere in the UK. The nearest place to catch a direct flight to French Guiana is Paris, France.

There are no direct flights from Australia to French Guiana. One way to go would be to fly to Paris, France first then take AirFrance to French Guiana. There are other options, but this may be the easiest.

Within French Guiana:
The only commercial airline that flies within the interior of FG is Air Guyane. They claim to provide 3 flights daily from Cayenne to Maripassoula, Saul, and St. Georges. My personal experience is that the AirGuyane schedule is horribly unreliable. Be prepared to wait up to 3 days (or longer) for a flight.
