Visa
Passports are not required by nationals of France and most French-speaking African countries carrying identity cards. For EU visitors, documents are the same as for Metropolitan France (that is, no visa, no exit ticket required – check with a consulate in advance). No visa is required for most nationalities except for those of Brazil, Guyana, Suriname, some Eastern European countries, and Asia (excluding Japan) and other African countries. No visa is required for a stay of up to three months, but an exit ticket out of the country is essential. An exit from one of the other Guianas is not sufficient.
