The Lima clubhouse staff will:
- Greet
all visitors with a smile when they arrive!
- Chat
about travel plans and offer advice when asked.
- Help
in emergencies or when problems arise.
- Store
equipment and valuables for members for up to one year.
- Hold
and forward mail or faxes for members for up to one year.
- Reconfirm
international flights departing from Lima.
- Host
occasional summer barbeques on the roof patio.
- Help
members connect with travel partners.
- Provide
current event listings about things to do and see in Lima.
- Gladly
provide airport pick-ups to all who help us out by hand
carrying goods to us from our office in the United States
(contact us at limaclub@saexplorers.org
if this might be you!).
The
Lima clubhouse also:
- Has
on file hundreds of Trip Reports on just about every subject
of interest to members-- Mountaineering...Kayaking...Rock
climbing...Hiking Trails... Restaurants and hotels...
Border crossings...Ruins in and around Peru...Traveling
with children...and much much more!

Gladly accepts donations of all shapes, forms, and denominations
(and writes great thank-you letters).
- Features
a selective book exchange for all types of readers.
- Hosts
a Travel Partner board for members to post notices and
find traveling companions.
- Keeps
an updated discount list for businesses in and around
Lima and Cusco.
- Has
an extensive library with over 1500 volumes.
- Provides
information about volunteer opportunities in Peru and
Ecuador.
- Answers
information requests through email, fax, and snail mail.
- Can
recommend options for English-speaking doctors, vegetarian
restaurants, gyms to use while in Lima, where to find
the party scene,
and other wacky tidbits about Peru!
