I applied to work at SAE because…. I wanted the opportunity to share my own experiences of travel within the region – and also to learn more from others.
The best part of the job is… meeting interesting people from around the world and helping them to fulfill their travel plans.
The worst part of the job is… having to get up for work the morning after drinking all night at the weekly pub quiz.

I travel because… I love it! I love getting out there, exploring new places, finding things that you didn’t know existed.
My favourite destination in South America is… Iquitos, Peru, because although there are many fascinating places to visit in South America, the Amazon for me offers everything you could want for a good adventure. Sailing down the greatest river in the world, meeting the locals and going to sleep each night in the jungle – knowing that you are surrounded by animals that would be happy to eat you!
A travel tip for visiting South America would be… to be open to new experiences! Take a few risks, get off the beaten track a little as there is so much to discover… just make sure you have enough memory on your camera!
One thing that no one ever tells you about Cusco is… it is so much more than Machu Picchu!
My next destination is… well, I promised to go and say hello to my ex-girlfriend in Colombia, but first I’ll make another trip to the jungle! I’m also excited to go trekking around the Ausangate circuit some time in the near future too.
