November 2008
Shot by: Ryan Bird
Where: Itaiguá, Paraguay
When: February, 2008
Equipment Used: Canon Rebel XT, 24-105 mm lens
Comments: This village is the only place ñandutí, or spider-web lace, is made in the world. A small piece like this takes 15 days of constant weaving to complete, and there are tablecloths and wedding dresses for sale that must take ages! This woman does offer classes if you’re ever inclined to take up the trade!
