SAE Member: Jae Oh

Our members are interesting people, and they do interesting things. Each edition we ask one of our intrepid members to tell us about themselves and what they are doing. This month, lucky Jae who was found relaxing at the Quito clubhouse, was chosen to bare his soul.
Where did you arrive from?
From Chicago, USA, but I have been travelling for two years.
Where is the best place you have travelled in South America?
Well, I have yet to travel outside of Ecuador, but I have really enjoyed the view of the mountains here.

What has been the best meal you have eaten on your trip?
I loved the freshly prepared ceviches and seafood soups along the coast of the Baja peninsula in Mexico.
What is the one thing you always make sure you have when you set off on a trip?
A torch and toilet paper!.

What is the best advice you can give about travelling in South America?
Match your travel style with your personality.
In your opinion, what is the best thing about South American Explorers?
The willingness of the SAE staff working at the club, to go out of their way to help out travelers that are in a bind.
